2K PLEASE make the crowds realistic!

I think that crowds in sports games can really be a deciding factor in how deep the immersion can be for a gamer. At a real sport event, the crowd is the bulk of the game environment. Some sports more than others of course.. Something that has been lacking in 2K's baseball games is a well designed crowd. Think of a crowd at a real baseball game.. They are quick to react to a nice play or hard hit ball. In the game it always seemed that the crowd is way late to react. The ball could have cleared the wall already and 3 seconds later the crowd erupts. It just doesn't have a good feel to it when you have badly coded crowds like this. The crowd noise is always the same scramble of screams and yelling every play and sometimes doesn't even do anything.

For those who have played NBA 2K9, THAT is how a crowd should sound. Why can't they do that with baseball?

if they put it in nba 2k9 then my belief is it will be in mlb 2k9... nhl 2k9 also has a fairly decent crowd... but in baseball the crowd is the seller because of the passion excitement and such. baseball is 1 of if not the only sport where action can happen in a blink of an eye homesrun strike out etc. the announcers plus the crowd eruption is great to listen to, hopefully some variation will b in the game

they did "ok" with the crowds in NBA some crowd movements are synchronized lol. But Seeing Crowds leave..Now thats cool.

Whie this would be a good thing, its VC's first year. I rather them get the gameplay right. The online play right and no lag out of the box this year.

Please make the game play fun and smoooth.

yeah, we need better crowd in this game, sometimes they should have fans showing things like: a.rod for mvp!!,LaRussa 4 president for example haha.

i just want more fan chants, movements, sounds, just like a real game. Especially the noise, because when you hit a walk off homerun

I agree. crowds make the game more exciting.I love playing my lakers franchise in 2k9 and the game is coming to close with a tie and the whole last minute I just hear the roar of the crowd. it excites me. You can also have bigger market teams sometimes get favorable crowd reactions as well at not so harsh markets. While watching the yankees in houston this past summer while most of the 'stros fans were booing them you had I'd say probably 25percent or more there for the yankees, myself included. It was a lot of fun. maybe big market non rival teams.
