people are probably recovering these on me around 75% of the time, while I am recovering them around 10% of the time. I see people come out in regular kick off formation to receive the ball and still recover them. It seems like everytime I do actually recover when the opposing team is onsiding it, it bounces around forever and I get lucky.
I just got cheesed out of a win tonight bigtime because of these onside kicks. He recovered two onside kicks in the first half, but I was still able to hold the lead at halftime 28-15. Second half comes around and he recovers 3 onside kicks in a row. My offense doesn't even touch the ball until 1 minute left in the 4th qtr. I could say I was a little ticked off tonight.

you select the ball carrier closest to the ball and then Y to pick the ball up... i do this quickly and repeatedly.... they still get a few.

If you push "x" they'll fall on it i randomly switch guys and push "x". also if you don't catch it right off youre like 90% more likely to not get it. good to know for recovering them too!

Remember the thread I posted late last year where a guy recovered like 4 or 5 in a row in the 2nd half? I literally never touched the ball in the 2nd half. He even called a time out on the kick off when he didn't get it setup just right. Who does that??? If not for the time out, I would have thought it were luck. I think a few guys have figured out a way to recover an onside kick a high percentage of the time.

That wasnt me but i have done that. The best thing is NOT releasing the stick. keep it back. slight angle to the left never all the way right. You want them to NOT catch the ball and the ball to stay low to the ground. Sometimes I push the stick hard left to make it go in front of the line.

One of the reasons I used to have 2 Legend WR's subbed in on onside kickoffs. I would sub them in the areas of the lineup the ball usually would bounce. Never lost one when I did this especially when I had Dwight Clark recovering them with his clutch attribute.

OK. Sub in all you wr's into the front line of your onside kick formation. Anyone with good hands. get all your back up linemen OUT!! the fat ones got grease on their hands from eating fried chicken on the sidelines. Having a leadership guy would help as well.
