My new team that I am really starting to like:

G: Sammy Baugh QB
G: "Bullet" Bob Hayes WR, CAP(Speed Burner, Break Away Burst, Quick Feet)

S: Ed Jones DE
S: Tony Dorsett HB, CAP(Speed Burner, Break Away Burst)
S: Lem Barney CB

B: Rocket Ismail WR
B: Alvin Harper WR
B: Terry McDaniel CB
B: John Offerdahl ILB
B: Charlie Waters SS
B: Clyde Simmons DE

I also put Sammy Baugh at Free Safety and he doesn't do too bad and he even de-cleated O.J. Simpson with a huge hit. With Bob Hayes being a beast, Dorsett bringing a nice compliment to the pass, and Baugh throwing just flat GREAT passes my offense moves the ball and scores quite easily. I don't think I have ever seen any one use Sammy Baugh and I can't believe it, I think he is probably in the top three for pure passing QB's. My defense isn't great but it isn't bad either and it can defend the pass quite well and will hold its own on the run as well. What do yall think?

How did you put Baugh at Free Safety, I can't seem to play anyone out of position...

This is cheesing. What qb you know to play safety. If i were to play i will give you a negative for that.

Actually Deebo, you are kind of wrong. "Slingin" Sammy Baugh played Place Kicker (I think), QB, and Free Safety in the pro's.

Sammy baugh was a 2 way player. It is not cheesing to play a player at their position. He was a punter, passer, defensive back. Geez, cheesing? Don't be ridiculous.

It isn't cheese... but I am interested in hearing how he's playing. Think he would do well with leadership on D with him?

I'm in a league where a guy is playing Baugh both ways.

He is pretty good at Free Safety and definitely holds his own better than a generic. He has plays where he dives to knock the pass away and plays where he big hits RB's like OJ Simpson. Also signal stealer is a good ability to have anyway.

LOL that's awesome! Have you gotten many complaints about that yet? I'd be laughing so hard as I steal like 20 plays from a guy in a game. If Baugh can cover and tackle... that's pretty valuable.

Can he actually cover a fade route or tackle a WR in pursuit?

He's is pretty slow in pursuit, let's remember he is in the game as a QB. I have not seen him get an INT yet either.
