I would trade Braxton for Darien Gordon or Ray Crockett if your going to have him play corner. (Braxton played corner and safety)

Rod Smith a silver? Trevor Price was pretty good also.

I know the whole team is pretty sick ha, and if I put Rod Smith at Silver then I will have to put Terrel at Bronze...

Here's my idea of another team line up

Gold
John Elway
Bill Romanowski

Silver
Rod Smith
Terrell Davis
Steve A****er

Bronze
Shannon Sharpe
Ed McCaffrey
Tyrone Braxton
John Mobley
Glen Cadrez

I can not believe the Broncos let Mike Shanahan go. WOW! Just because he didn't win enough to get in the playoffs this season even though he has won 2 Superbowls and countless trip to the playoffs and they fire him. Honestly who else is out there that would be much better than him?????

The Broncos after Elway left has still been a contender year after year. There biggest problem is there are in AFC at the same time that you have 2 active Hall of Fame QB in Peyton Manning and Tom Brady and there teams are better all around. Peyton is the smartest QB in the game so having a great defense will slow him down but he will still find your weaknesses and Tom Brady is Clutch.

I would LOVE for the Seahawks to dismiss Jim Mora JR before he screws up the team and Hire Shanahan instead!!!

They held him up to todays standards... Bronco's havent been to the playoffs since 05 and have only won 1 playoff game since Elway left!

But who can forget it was all a perfect system in 98, they where a beast!

Frankly I think the Broncos are just plain stupid and impatient for letting him go. Hopefully he doesn't show them up too much when he coaches against them.

They have not had a decent QB since Elway left. Jay Cutler is one of the best in the league IMO. The only good player on the defense is Champ Bailey but his years should be taking a toll on him. IMO the only 2 bone head moves that Shanahan made while he was the Coach was to bring in Jake Plummer and Maurice Clarett. The issue with the Broncos is the fact that they play in a very tough AFC Division and conference and there are a lot of great Offenses in the AFC. You can't stop these offense but you can slow them down but if every team just throws away from Champ than the rest of the team on defense should be better yet it is not.

If the team is not good then that is shanahans fault, as the gm, he has to take responibility for the defense being sub-par, personally I think he was fired for personnel decision moreso than his coaching. think ownership wants more say so in who is on the field.

Shanahan seems to be the only one hurt over how things came to be. Sad thing is he said when he was called to the office he thought Bowlen was going to ask him to have lunch with him.

I read that Owner Pat Bowlen told Mike to Fire his Defensive Coach. Mike said no. So Bolwen fired him. This is not out of line for an owner to ask the head coach to do the dirty work since they usually bring in the guys they want. Mike being a long tenure coach prolly thought he had some clout. But who else is going to do the job nobody wants to? Mike probably didn't want to fire a friend and never though pat would fire him.
Pat prolly thought mike was losing a bit of judgment. Since they failed to get to the playoffs and collapsed after a season with a ton of talent. So it goes both ways. I'm stunned. It seems like a rash judgment. We have definitely lost a ton of leadership. Now they are talking about hiring Def Cord Morris from Tampa Bay. OMG. Id be more pleased with the tuna setting up a 3-4 like he did with Dallas.
I feel it was a step back. But maybe some good will come of it. It's always good to see a fresh innovative side. Ala Tony Sparano and Miami. Hopefully, Broncos can bring in a motivator. However, on second thought how can you fault someone when 7 Rb's goto the IR!!

Or when 7 WR's go on to the IR like the Seahawks did.

Funkys world: When i give advice openly about teams i consider price.
Seahawks offseason moves: Acquire Guard Jordan gross
Acquire Darren Sporles.
Cut: Deion Branch and his IR bill.
Aquire: Tj Hozzyamama (Your getting a more durable WR that can make Big plays and has insane agility.

Cut: Koren Robinson cuz sproles can run back the kicks to some extent. You don't want him out there all the time but Robinson is massively overpaid.
I think maybe Aquiring Chirs gamble would also make them deadly with trufant...but peppers is out there and Bookends with Kerney means you wouldn't need gamble.

Who cares about the Denver donkeys? They are not a factor in the AFC West....the chargers have owned them for the past 3-4 years. San Diego will win the Superbowl you heard it here first.

San Diego will not show up with pressure vs anybody good in the playoffs. This is fact. They would never ever....be able to get to mcnabb. I'd even stop it and say they'd never get to Collins,Eli manning or
delhomme. They have weak pass rush. San Diego won't get passed Indy. You heard it hear...
This is a hurdle for Peyton manning and he will confront it.

You are forgetting that there is a Salary Cap. They have to do the best they can to resign Leroy Hill this off season. They need to release Branch IMO because he see's the medical staff more than he does his team mates. The Seahawks have the 4th over all pick in the draft and if Michael Crabtree decides he will go Pro than many Mock Drafts have the Seahawks taking Crabtree which I would love for them to do and if he doesn't comes out or gets drafted before the Seahawks than they should take Malcolm Jenkins the CB from Ohiop State. Whoever they don't take in the 1st round they should address in the second. The Seahawks don't have much money to flirt with too many high profile Free Agency players.
