I don't have very many complaints about this game so far, but have yu guys noticed how rare it is for a batter to take a pitch on a 3-0 count, or am I the only one?

I believe that has happened to me a few times. I'm also a bit surprised at the number of foul balls.

Can't you tell the batter to take it?

OK quick question if you manage the game does the cpu pitch and bat for you or do u have to select it like selecting plays in Head coach

While in games, the AI pretty much handles all of the game play. You, the gamer, only get to make roster substitutions, call a bunt, hit and run, steal, defensive placements, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple other functions you can perform.

Now that you mention it, yeah... I too have noticed an incredible amount of foul balls. Hopefully 2k will fix that and the 3-0 count discipline in an upcoming update.

Seems a little light on the in-game management options....

True, but most GM's don't have much involvement in pitch by pitch game decisions.

We're all hoping for an awful lot from this next update. I doubt all these issues will be taken care of but I'm crossing my fingers...

I thunk plate discipline has a huge imact on the 3-0 swing. I have been walked a good number of times.
