After watching my buddy play and simulate games/seasons, here are some conclusions.
When you go through and manage every game, the stats are accurate and scores realistic.
When you simulate, things get terrible.
Stat line for Miguel Cabrera:
.356 BA
184 R
64 HR
175 RBI
Evan Longoria: 70 HR
Matt Holliday: 190 RBI
Justin Upton: 45 HR in 74 games.
I was hoping it would be realistic to simulate, considering this is a simulation game. Say it aint so Billy...

That is not good. These types of games HAVE to have a solid stats engine. I'm very disappointed and this would definitely keep me from buying the game.

Well I for one will be playing every single game, so this isn't an issue. I don't see why people but these games and don't actually bother watching their guys in action.

Do GM's sit through every game in real life. I'm not one so I can't say but I would assume not because its essentially out of their hands at that point and the product they put on the field has to get it done. I'm with you in that I will be "playing" out most of the games, but it would be nice to know that the simulator won't ruin the accuracy of stats if I need to use it ever...

As far as I know most GM's attend most games. The only one I know who never does is Billy Beane.

Billy Beane stays in the clubhouse for the most part i believe. In the book Moneyball this was discussed because of his temper/competitive spirit he cant stand to watch.... :)

Yeah I just read that book. I don't agree with a lot of what he says, but some of it is interesting.

The straw that broke the camel's back was seeing that I couldn't use my roster/contract updates that took all day to conjure up in career mode.
