I HAVE TO KEEP CREATING/SIGNING PLAYERS B/C EVERYONE IS INJURED ON MY TEAM. WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE PLAYOFFS IF THIS CONTINUES????

It seems like the only teams that get injuries are yours & your opponent's.... the rest of the league gets very few, while your team suffers from overkill.

If you want to get healthy, do this:

** You might have to take your memory cards out, so it doesn't automatically load your settings.... can't remember if I did this or not**

Create a franchise, set injuries to OFF, and set everything else like your original franchise.

Select your team.

While in the new franchise, change your sliders & other settings identical to the settings you use in your original franchise.

Save your settings as "NoInjury", or something like that.

Leave the franchise.

Now you have two settings... the original settings, which has injuries ON embedded in it, and one which has injuries OFF embedded in it.

When you load your franchise, load the one you want..... It's not revolutionary by any means, but I think it works well to get your team healthy. I didn't like having them off, because it's part of the game (I love the day-to-day stuff, btw... it was always "a week or two" in EA.... much more realistic).

Agree the injuries are just brutal.
And the majority of them are for 2-4 months!!! for me anyways

Hi,

Just thought I'd offer a suggestion. I've never had to turn off injuries, and haven't had the massive injury problems that others seem to have.

All I do is make sure that I don't charge up every body check, and I only lay the boom down with guys who are made for it (Steven's eg).

Hope this helps,
Ronnie

Wow, I thought my injury situation was crazy because I play with the Habs (who are reknown to have probably perfected the injury bug!). That definitely need to be addressed.

Hey Puck! How do you turn off the injuries? I can't figure out how to create a New Franchise, save the settings, and embed the setting in my old franchise? Where do you save settings? I just see save profile and save franchise....Thanks!

I also suffered a glut of injuries. But once I made the playoffs my opponant suffered too many injuries and didn't have enough players to dress. As a result I couldn't continue the series and had to quit my franchise.

There was a slider in last years title to control the frequency of injuries. Why was it ommited this year? And why won't players who have mild injuries ever play on other teams?

Don't forget the other injury related bug. Any time I'd look over my injuries and reach the bottom of the list the game would freeze.

It's an important issue if it can put an end to a season. I'm not sure how this stuff was missed during the testing phase.
