I am so impressed with this gameplay I made a video on it!

I was an avid NFL Fever 2003 player but never played 2004. I ran across it because it is the only backwards compatible Fever on 360 and it has a Passing Game Play Feature that is AMAZING!!!

No game has EVER had anything quite like this, 2K needs to adapt to this feature and atleast make it an option so Football Minded players such as myself will have more control on how the ball is throw and makes it 100% more realistic

One of the stupidest features I've seen. Anyone else confused? I thought this kid was black with Cornrows?

Care to elaborate? You take control of where you throw it... You can over and under throw based on your performance and not the computers...

Does it take wind, pressure, etc into account? No it's just a fling an go stupid feature for an arcade style of football game. A qb doesn't have complete control of every pass they make, an judging by this lame feature if you play enough times you'll have control every single time which does not = football.

It's also stupid in that when a WR is running his route how are they being lead? There back is to the Quaterback so how exactly do they know when a qb wants them to do this or do that? Sure on a curl route where the front of them is facing the qb than sure that lead **** makes sense but you showed a corner route how the hell can a WR tell when running a corner route when to break it off an go straight to the sideline?

I am all for adding all game play as an option. Give the person who paid for your game every thing he wants.

Listen to what you just said, "A QB Doesn't have control of where they throw the ball..."

And are you serious? Have you never heard "The WR made a good adjustment to the ball..." And I can SPEAK from EXPERIENCE our QB use to all ways bend our corner routes and we had to adjust our route every time the ball was thrown...

Please quote the whole thing an not take snippets to dull the effect of my point.

I think it's a great idea.

It's kind of a cool idea. One question I'd have is how you'd differentiate QB ability if everything was in the users' hands. What would you do for accuracy? Would it be TOO difficult if your throws were inaccurate AND you were a bad passer?

Don't get me wrong I like user ability. Two things I'd contest are differentiation of throws amongst different quarterbacks AND overall overwhelming ability. It'd be hard to look off players from what I see. If you faced a good defensive player I could see this making offense very hard at times. It would look nice on a slower paced game on APF. If it was fast like madden I know I couldn't handle it.

Good find!

fever really was a great game. it had the best passing and player physics. the only problems are a weak franchise mode and the fact that theres only 3 different player models which are 5'10 with loose qb sleeves, 6'3 and 6'5, which is a problem when most of the quarterbacks are under the 5'10 model when theyre really 6'5, like peyton manning. also, there arent many defensive playmaker controls, but all of the games from 2003 were lacking those features as well

That is a good question. My friend had an idea of having the Circle Bigger for better QB's and when you go downfield the Circle gets smaller... Some where along those lines QB's that have a less rating accuracy should be terrible when throwing downfield compared to the best QB's in the game..

It easy making 1-2 reads, but switching to that 4th read is kinda tricky just like in real life. Only the best QB's are able to find the open man on the 4th read. And your so right, this feature would SUCK in unrealistc madden, but in All Pro would be great because the player models and size of field are simular to Fever.

Well for Player vs Player games the icon could be hidden. Well at least for online games it could be hidden. But playing on the same Box or Station then it would have to show. Neat feature though but it might be a little too advanced especially when sports game devlopers are shooting for the broadest market possible.

I used to play Fever a lot, and I really enjoyed this feature. It made every pass you completed feel like you did a good job, not got lucky. It was very similar to 2K's maximum passing, but more refined.

Im glad we agree on this one sock, ha but Fever use to be my favorite games and if they would of continued the series and fixed the bugs, id still be playing it

Can you say "Maximum Passing". And the out route or "cougar route" as you call it is pretty popular in APF. Do you even play APF?

P.S. you sound like the qrter back from friday night lights the movie. ya know the one that was in sling blade.

its an out route, its not a comeback...

Its better then max passing, you have complete control of where the ball goes... If you over throw a guy its because u over threw him... not the CPU

OH a comeback. plenty of those. curls comebacks doube curls etc... and the max passing does the same thing if you over throw him YOU over throw him except for in relation to the body movement of te qtr back i.e. running sideways:p

That seems unnecessarily complicated. I would just like to see more control with how long I hold the button.

I'll played fever and that new feature worked for me. You also determine the strenght on your throw with the trigger. It felt you had control of the strength of your pass and accuracy. It does suck if there is a lot of pressure coming though. you really only have a few secs to throuw. Which is a little accurete to the NFL
