It is when you have a cursor ( or in this game they used a bat), and you need to try too move the sweet spot of the bat over the ball for maximum contact. The closer you are to the seet spot the better the contact and visa versa. Hit high on sweet spot= pop up, low =grounder. So now you have timing aspect plus accuraccy for more realism.

Just create a new Xbox Live gamertag. It's free and you get a free 1 month subscription for the account. You can then download the demo with the new gamertag, play it, and then delete the profile afterwards if you really want to.

Microsoft does not release that information. As I've heard, Gold members usually get demos about a week earlier than Silver members. I've never had a Silver subscription, so I don't know the exact timeframe.

It is true, Silver members get all demo's one week after Gold Members. Its one of the "perks" of having a Gold Account. On very RARE occasion does a demo come available for all level members to download at the same time. Major Nelson has confirmed this several times on his blog.

I agree!
I still would probably say that Allstar baseball ('05) was the best game ever!
The hitting felt real plus they also had a really cool franchise mode call EXPANSION MODE where you actually got to bring in one of two new expansion teams. You got to pick your city, logos, mascot, stadium, uniforms. Then you got to compete against the other expansion team (CPU) in the draft. The other teams were aloud to protect the appropriate number of players just like in a real expansion.
That was so fun, to run a team from the furst time they stepped into the league and to know that every decision to built that franchise was yours. I wish somebody woulld do that again!
