What color will the St. Louis Cardinals away helmets be in the final build of the game? In the videos I have seen, they are red. The Cardinals wear dark blue helmets when they play away games. Please respond as this is an important topic that I have tried to get answered.

I believe those are their spring training jerseys... They wear red helmets in ST games.

JCard, its an important topic?!?!?! Its a freakin helmet. It won't make or break the game for you. You don't determine whether or not your going to buy the game just because of helmet color. Its a minor negligible topic, is what you mean.

I don't think it's asking much for a game to have the right helmets, and if they got something wrong for my favorite team that takes a minute to look up on the internet, it would bother me a little. Sorry that people are wondering if things like uniforms are going to be accurate.

You know that if it was your team you would want it to be right to..... I mean what if the indians had purple uniforms? He just wants his team to be right like all of you expect. Your right cards and this should be an easy patch you would think. I think that Team uniforms are a main part of the game and should be accurate just like player names and stadiums I mean they are the main parts of this game. Im with you on this one Cards!!

i agree with you to a point. Yeah things like this should be accurate...but i'm sure visual concepts had much more than the different color ball cap to worry about. Not very many teams have alternate road caps...so i highly doubt that VC was going to worry about getting that right this year...i mean they had so much ground to cover after the disaster that was 2k8 (however i loved it). I'm sure they just wanted to have a much improved gameplay and presentation. I hope the hat thing isn't a make or break for you...it's still going to be an awesome game. I guess it would bother me much more if the cards were my team...but i dunno...i think its more of a minor detail being that most teams dont have alternate hats that they wear all the time. Who knows...maybe it will be in the finished version...if i were a cards fan...i'd be more worried if joe thurston (my buddy) will be starting second base =)

I am a diehard Cards fan, and I think that they should get the helmets right. If they don't, I'll still be buying the game, I'll just have to deal with being annoyed unless there is a way to change it.

I don't think asking them to get the uniforms right is asking too much. yes I know they had a lot to change, but if they were going to change and fix stadiums, why not have a group of people go through and correct the uniforms? Gameplay needed adjustments too and so we know that was the first thing that VC and 2K wanted to fix this year. So if the game plays alright then I'll be happy. I would like to see them get not just helmets, but uniforms right in the future though.

Excuse me...Baseball is a game of details. Everyone loves to make all their favorite players and teams play as if they would in the real season. People spend hours upon hours editing players and rookies so that their accesories match their real life counterparts. Don't give me this, minor negligible topic bs! For me it is a big deal, but i'm glad you think you know me so well. Like one other person said, would you like it if the Indians had a red helmet or a wrong colored one? Or if Cliff Lee was Black!!! Yes I am still going to buy the game, but I will be annoyed on all 81 of my Away games. Check my posts, this is virtually my only complaint on this game.

Sorry for wanting an answer on something that should be extremely easy to fix. They got their hats right, why not the helmets??

There is not an Away spring training uniform in either of the two previous games. I know what their ST uniforms look like, and those aren't even it. If you look at the helmet in the game, they have a red helmet with a red logo. Unlike the ST ones that have a white logo that you can actually see. I wish it was the case, but it isn't! Also look at the video when they are selecting unis, it just says Road...

I believe those are their spring training jerseys... They wear red helmets in ST games. Another question...Im an astros fan and on 2k8 they didnt have their RED road jerseys. They did in 2k7...Will they have the red jerseys in this years game?

While they aren't the correct regular season helmets, I've always thought that they should wear the red caps and helmets on the road. Everything else they wear is red (armbands, spikes, etc.).
