Just a consern that according to the demo there are no collision detections coded in this game expect for the walls. Would love to see this in next years and hopefully they added it in the final build. If not its not a huge thing because I never had collisions in the previous years just cool to see really.

The only objects that have collision detection are the walls ?

From what I have seen so far I had 2 players run right through each other and I have yet to try to run over the catcher because I have not had that chance yet and on double plays the fielder seems to get the throw off. with out being taken down.

the players not taking strikes thats one, second no collition detection, third the celebrations was the only thing you guys should not bring from nba2k9 it will be good to see baseball players react like baseball players after a win, fourth why if you move the outfielder on a fly ball he wont catch it, it makes it realistic to move a little before the catch, and last on a double play have the runner on second try at least to take the second baseman out. everything is great so far..... remember collitions and celebrations are important.

If it wasn't in the demo in it won't be in final......which is a shame because it makes the game look dumb. However there is collison detection with the catcher or it might be canned animations I dont know.

Collisions are there, but more times than not you have players going through each other. I have had players run into each other and knock one another over, so it does happen. But not on a regular basis as it should.

There are celebrations. Such as a walk off homerun and the runner pumping his fist in the air as he rounds 1st. Then the team meets him at homeplate giving him high fives.

This really detracts from the game, and reeks on a lack of polish. Ugh. Overall I think the game will be good, but it is apparent this is a work in progress and VC never had enough time to this year to fix it all, while a negative, not a game breaker, but, certainly detracts from the game, very few games these days have people walking through each other.

Patch maybe? Lets hope.

Possibly a patchable item, and who knows it could be addressed in the Day 1 patch. for the limited time VC had to work on the game, the project overall is a great success and a great base to build upon for 2k10. Remember, VC had to build this game from the ground up in a very short period of time since the dispersal of Kush.
