Is there any way to adjust the pitch speed at the time it reaches the plate, it seems like it slows down. Can we adjust that so it is realistically traveling from the pitchers release to the plate? Maybe via sliders or an option (on/ off)

Not sure if this is what you mean, but...

In 2k8 there was a slider for "Pitch Speed" that was for both Human and CPU. The default was 50 and you could make the speed faster/slower by changing that slider. I'd assume it will be the same this year.

Thanks for the reply, i played 2k8 and i had the speed slider at max, thats whats supposed to feel like in a real baseball game, but i will be more specific. i meant the speed when the ball crosses the plate... i have seen it in the demo and also PastaPadre.com noted it too. It is really annoying to see the ball slow down when it crosses the plate.

ohh, that!

Yeah I have no clue, but I hope they fixed that and the way (if you viewed it in instant replay it was really noticeable) but the ball would reach the plate and then would kind of warp to the catcher's glove. I found myself striking out sometimes even though I should have made at least some contact, but instead the ball decided to speed up just as my bat was about to make contact.
