Drop 3rd strike = single??!?!

fourth time I struck someone out, my catcher drops the ball in the dirt, AI runs to first base, I throw the ball to first in PLENTY of time, and the AI is safe at first. laughable. and what the heck is up with the coaches big puffy arms? i guess the big question is, did 2K test the game at all? ok, time to go do a somersault on the warning track...............

this demo i believe was stated to by from december and this is probably a glitch that happens randomly, hopefully it is fixed.

Seems completely random because I have thrown out runners at first too. Was the throw off the mark pulling your 1st baseman off the bag? Then of course you would have to tag the runner or touch the bag. If you just stand there, he will obviously be safe. Just a thought.

How could you guys be having this much experience throwing people out at first with a dropped 3rd strike?

It doesnt happen THAT often in the MLB.

but then maybe Im spoiled by Varitek's catching, idk.
