im sure there will be a slider but it seems like they dont react the way they should react when certain plays happen. It sounds a little better from last year but i dunno. i know this is the demo so i hope that once you play a full game they get more pumped.

To me they at least seem better. Nothing amazing (so far in just the demo), but DEFINITELY better.

Whats actually troubling is seeing that the players have no emotion. Post game after wins they just shuffle off the field, there was that vid of Lincecum with the no-no and looked depressed. As they start on 2k10, putting some life into their real-world style would be a great addition. (and maybe its better in the full version)

It's kind of hit or miss to me. Sometimes the crowd goes wild, but then sometimes it doesn't do anything at all. (based off demo)

It's the same way in NBA 2k9, Sometimes the crowd gets really jacked up and it's awesome. Then other times, It's just dead even if you hit a buzzer beater. It's great sometimes then bad other times, Atleast it's something instead of just sucking all together though. Something I think they do need to improve on in nba 2k10, I obviously don't have the final version of MLB to know if the crowd sounds are good in that or not etc.

Why is the crowd still non-existant in this game. I thought they changed this? I hope its changed in the retail version. I am disappointed in this.Ugh When Howard hits a home run crowd is silent...

*******...don't worry about the crowd. it's people like you that caused them to take away from the baseball players graphics and put it all into the damn crowd..the crowd looks better than the players. downgrade from 2k8. use to be able to see the players jerseys blowing in the wind..not in 2k9.

Keep in mind that it's a demo. Hopefully the crowd goes nuts. Hope you can edit the players because i hear you can't.

Its a very intelligent comment. I think he means that 2k listened specifically to you and instead of focusing on the important things (the things important to him) they put all their time and energy into making the crowd more realistic (at least looking better, but not sounding great yet) which has ruined the entire game. Something like that.

I believe there is only like 4 guys who work for 2k on this game, and 3 of them focused all 8 months on the crowd ignoring the rest of the game.

Crowds are typically not always screaming in the 2nd or 3rd inning. However, I have had a couple of games where they really did get excited and it sounded pretty good. It may not be to what everyone wants, but it surely is better than last year. Also, the crowd will boo a lot more as well based on certain events.

thats all we can hope for, at least its better...its not perfect or all that great, but better than last year! And I think they will keep getting better and better in small steps each year. Once they start putting back in the things they took out while getting better at the same time, this game is all going to come together!!

The crowd only likes certain players. Create yourself as a player, hit a hr, and see if the crowd like you lol.
