Sorry to disappoint u guys but again MLB 2k9 fails to beat the show year after year and they just cant beat them NBA 2k always does great but when it comes to baseball they just cant do it already the show has better reviews and ratings what a disappointment

where are reviews already? Have searched for them the entire day...
maybe it fails to beat The Show in sales but does it in gameplay and fun for single players? Games are games and reviews also seem to influence people sometimes (at least I often read reviews to know whether I should give the game a try)... but hey: maybe bad example for most people but just because GTA IV sold much more than Saints Row 2 it didn't make it better and more fun. As longs as they sell enough to have black numbers they can be happy.
I'm certainly not disappointed. So far MLB 2k9 looks awesome and I'm looking forward to it!
Maybe The Show also has more fanboys :P Before everybody hits me with mean comments: just kidding... or not? lol...
Difficult to express my opinions... but I'm not disappointed. Business is business. If they sell more and I play MLB 2K9 while having an awesome time I won't be disappointed... only thing that would disappoint me would be very many bugs or if they stopped making another baseball game because they couldn't sell enough.
I think 2K Sports also has a great problem: they need to win back reputation. They lost so much last year with all the bugs. And this might hurt them now because The Show has made a name for itself. It looked good last year but for my taste they didn't improve the right things.

If anyone is expecting a first year effort from a new developer to beat out a game that has had the same people working on it for years and has had a solid foundation to build upon for years, then they are delusional. While I expect a good, solid effort from VC in it's first year (I just got the game today, so I'll have a better impression later), I don't expect them to beat out The Show this year.

Correct there have been no official reviews as of yet registered by recognized media outlets.
