I spoke with someone who had the game and he informed me that the CPU no matter what difficulty you play on will ALWAYS swing at a first pitch strike.

Now anyone who is a baseball fan knows that MLB teams DO NOT SWING at the first pitch alot. INFACT over 90% of the league lets the first pitch go without swinging.

However in MLB 2k9, which should be a SIMULATION game (Meaning that its REALISTIC)

Am I missing something hear....

I was also informed that you CAN NOT BE WALKED.....

I don't understand.. Please fix this... Make a new mode or somehing. Call it (REAL BASEBALL) have the CPU not swing all the damn time. Have them STRIKE out looking sometimes if you TRICK them.

Have the CPU get nervous sometimes if you got David ORTIZ, or -ROD up to bat in the 9th inning and the pitcher is ranked one of the worst in the league. Why doesn't the game understand this????

I am wrong guys?

Do I sound like I'm complaining about something that I shouldn't be talking about?

I'm hoping everyone will agree and 2k will actually do something about it....

However Iam sure some people will get on here and disagree with what I've said making it THAT MUCH MORE HARD for anything to be changed...

ohh well.. still worth a shot..

NOt always, but alot of the times they will. To much though. We are well aware of this and this is probably the number 1 priority.

You cannot be walked, who the hell gave you your info, my first game on allstar, 3 walks, The Ai swinging is a real issue, hopefully a patch will fix it.

Before you go ona tangent, at least play the game yourself and get facts straight. gettting walks is easy, there are rumours Ai will be patched to take more strikes, but nothing confirmed.

The Ai strikes out all the time looking, again, yuo are spewing BS becasue you HEARD it somewhere, they swing at the first pitch always yes, annoying, but easy to get K's looking.

So much BS in your post, I think you either are a troll, or just gullible. Try it yourself.

There is a video on OS showing Ai taking many k's. Still an issue? Sure, but they do take K's and strike out looking. Just needs to be toned down more.

why is stuff like this addressed after the games release, don't the testers come across any of this? why do they leave it to the consumers to find the flaws.

Do any of you realise half the stuuf he said is bogus? Like walks and not taking k's?

The issue was never them taking K's, it was they do not take enogh mainly the first pitch or 3-0, that's it.

Walks are easy to get.

Christ!

You can be walked, I'm averaging being walked about 3 times per game with a few minor slider adjustments.
Likewise I have gotten the CPU to look at SEVERAL first pitch strikes.
