I played 3 games in franchise. Saved and went out to check out the card book. Tried to load the franchise and the game and console froze, music stops, etc. Restarted xbox, reloaded franchise, froze again. Seriously, who tests this? Every year there's something not just annoying, but gamebreaking.

I restarted the console again and got a title update. Loaded fine now. That was quick.
Free agents are still broke. They'll agree to the contract, but arent added to your team.
Never mind, now it froze in the franchise inside edge menu. Restarted and bought the cubs inside edge report and froze again.
