So, a month into my first season, I am sittinga few games over .500, but I seriously needed to add some pitching and some sticks, SO...I bought Manny off the FA and immediately shipped him to the Giants for Mr. Coverboy, Tim Lincecum(sp??), straight up. These are some other players I have traded for:

David Wright - David Ortiz and Mike Lowell(clear some cap space and veterans, hoping for some good FA's)
Hanley Ramirez - Tha YOUK and Julio Lugo
The Yank's Rookie Catcher(he is a 74 overall/20 years old) - Manny Declamaren
Kamzir/David Price - Dice-K and Brad Penny

I also made some trades for pitching and OF prospects. My line-up is:

1B - I can't remember his name(in class), I'll edit later
2B - Pedroia
3B - David Wright
SS - Hanley Ramirez
C - Varitek
LF - Jason Bay
CF - Jacoby
RF - JD Drew

Okay...and??? The game allowed the trade, so how is it unrealistic? I got rid of big names and prospects

Cause they don't like following "Fake Franchises". For example the Marlins would never trade Hanley for Ortiz and Lowell trades like that turn people off.

No, I have force trade off. It took me forever to get a deal with David Wright and I cold never get one with Evan Longoria because the Rays were so low in cap
