He was approved before he retired and the league didn’t ask us to remove him. That will be true of most of the retired players. We’re not removing them unless the league tells us to.

Generally what i do to get around the retired players is i will just edit there stats extremely low so the chances of anyone signing them would be very small. Thus basically eliminating them right out of the game.

Jeff Kent, really, this is the least of the problems. How about have players that are not retired have the correct skin color, stances, and extras.

Usually what I'll do is jack up their rating for injuries, fatigue and slowness both on defense and baserunning... so that they still have their stats and could still be signed if a team was really desperate... but they would be a short-term, almost only good for pinch hitting
