Rick Porcello?

I was wondering if Rick Porcello is in the game at all, even if it is not under his name because i cannot find a player that fits his age and size stats in the Tigers system. Its probably that im not looking hard enough but i figured i should check it out

Last year his fake name was Randy Parsons iirc.

Try searching around for that name. It might be in free agents like some of the other prospects for some reason.

the name is in free agents,but he's a reliever and african american not white

i'm trying to figure this out as well, also looking for which one is ryan perry. There is a perry in the list but doesn't look right.

Austin Jackson, Yankees future star CF was black in MLB 2K8 but is now white but has the same name and everything in 2K9..... I just don't get it :confused:

Rick Porcello is not in the game sadly....yet. I went through all the levels of minor league ball and he was nowhere. They need to get him in quickly because he probably makes hte opening day roster as the 5th starter.

If he makes the roster...he'll be in the game on their Opening Day Roster Update. They'll only put in people who have signed with the MLBPA

And if all else fails...search the 2KShare-->Player DNA (or something like that)-->Download and search by the name Porcello or whatever player you're looking for. You can create/download up to 50 people.

well from what i've been able to find out is that porcello is on the FA list for some reason with the name randy parsons. his stats indicate more of a reliever than a starter however and his race is wrong so i'm not sure this is accurate but it is what he was named last year.

Yeah what's up with half the prospects not even being there? Like The Giants are missing Tim alderson and the Indians are missing Carlos Santana etc etc etc.? Also why do so many of them have the wrong skin color?? Come onnn 2k if you need someone to go throuh all the propects and get their attributes close enough to right(study scouting reports) and their heigh, weight, SKIN COLOR etc. I'd love to do it :) I'm sure many of us would since prospects is such a big part of the game. It's fun to pick a team who's farm system is loaded and see if you can bring all the guys up to become legit MLB'ers
