Are uniforms still being fixed?

Because I know there are several that aren't correct yet. I know a few updates were made with one of the roster updates, but not everything is done. Can we expect more updates?

If you see an issue with a uniform, send a detailed description of it to Ron and they will look into it. He is looking at some Braves uniform changes right now.

Do be aware though that many teams make some uniform changes and they are published in the official MLB Style Guide which is not made public. Also the style guide has been wrong before so I would not completely pass judgment on uniforms until the teams are using the official MLB uniforms after opening day.

Angels-their alternate red jerseys are also worn on the road with gray pants

Mets-Alt Black jerseys with NEW YORK on it should be worn with gray pants...seems it should be OBVIOUS

Marlins-also wear their alternate black jersey on road

Rangers-it says on official team site the Alternate reds are for home games and the alt blues are for away. Also aren't the letters on their regualr jerseys now red?

Rockies-Alt Blacks for road GRAY PANTS

Padres-wear their alt blues on road more often then at home(why can't we just have opition for either??)

Cubs-wear their ALT BLUE on road as well


...pretty much a lot of teams with alternate colored jerseys sometimes wear em on road as well. Teams like Braves and Rangers have certian colored alts for home and away though, but the other teams can't you just give us the opition of wheather or not to wear it with gray or white pants??

You're right Manny- The Rangers need the following changes:

1. Alternate blue jersey is worn at home AND on the road. The game currently only allows it at home (with white pants).
2. Alternate blue jersey should have a blue cap (game has a red cap paired with the blue jersey)
3. The font for the names and numbers is incorrect on all the jerseys. (should be like the angels)
4. There should be no numbers on the front of any jersey.
5. All jerseys should have a black belt (game has them with blue)

The Chicago White Sox have been wearing a road alternate uniform for years...its the black alternate home jersey with the road gray pants.

We can’t change the art on the uniforms themselves or mix and match pants/jerseys/hats. We can only effect accessories, helmets, lettering, and numbering. mostly, just turning it off/on and some coloring.

Angels, Marlins, Padres, Cubs - alternate jerseys - Can’t mix and match.
Mets- The Alt says Mets, not New York. Matches style guide.
Rangers - The guide named them “Alternate” and “Alternate 2”. We’ll check with the league if we can call them “Alternate Home” and “Alternate Away” instead.

Not this year. Each uniform is delivered as a set.

Can’t change fonts this year, only move left/right and turn off.

This will be fixed. It’ll be in the next living roster.

Don't disagree, but we can’t change the belt colors in the roster this year.

First off the game is very playable if you take the time to adjust sliders and learn how to pitch and field. I'm sure your comeback would be " why should I have to adjust anything, it should play right out of the box." Your right , the game should play a good game of baseball out of the box but it doesn't. Every sports game nowadays has sliders so players can adjust the game to their particular skill level, which apparently you have none. As far as 2K taking you money,No one took your money, you willing laid out $60.00+ for the game,you should have rented it first.

The Blue undershirt went away on the first or second roster update. I think the gray helmets turned black when the shoes did as well.

Thanks for the info. It's a bummer that there are so many issues that will remain incorrect throughout the season, but I do appreciate the work to fix what is "fixable".

I'm talking bout the Mets Cool Base jersey!!! It's the black Alt that says NEW YORK on it. That's gotta be painfully obvious that it's an away jersey so please put it with gray pants or name it alt away or something.

What about the Redsox? Their away uniforms don't have the blue stripe on the pants or on the sleeves, and their socks will probably be red, not blue. Don't know if this is how their uniform will actually look, but hopefully it will be fixed

if you download the latest roster it looks like they made team color 3 on most teams the new black and it's actually black. Also it looks like the shoes are team color 3 now(darker black)

Actually, black shoes are correct for the Rangers. They are wearing black shoes and belts this season, instead of blue, so that they can switch to their alternate red jersey at home. (red jersey, blue shoes would look kinda weird). That's about the only thing 2k got right with the Rangers though. They forgot the blue alternate road jersey, and they put a red hat with the blue home jersey....clearly that wasn't checked, b/c there's no way someone would see that and not realize it's wrong. The belts are wrong, stripes are wrong, etc. I brought the issues up, but they can't fix anything else.

yeah me too along with editing players among many other things :( All they need to do is fix those things and the foul ball problem and AI batting problem and the game is really really good imo.

When I purchased this game, the White Sox home pinstripe uniform was missing the number on the front of the jersey. It had looked like 2K fixed the problem, but now the number is missing again. Anyone know what happened?

The alternate black jersey is also missing the number on the front as well.

My main concern with Texas is that they have them wearing red hats with the blue jerseys...it should be a blue hat with the blue jersey....I know they can fix it because they at first had the blue hat with the red jersey which was changed in a roster update.

I mentioned this to Ron back when the game first came out- he said it might be fixed via the patch..... clearly, the patch is out and this is not fixed. Also, after seeing opening day, the players need to be wearing red socks with their alt red jerseys, and in the game- they're wearing blue socks. This should be fixed as well.

I was going to say that about the Rangers red jerseys at opening day, like kinsler had red sox and red accessories. The blue just doesn’t look right on the red ALT. hope they can fix it.

Totally. Although I think this issue has been around for the past few versions....it's really ridiculous. Those black cool base NEW YORK jerseys aren't homewear, they are ROAD jerseys apparently used on super hot days (I have a beef with why they chose the black for this in reality, but...) and they get worn with Grey pants. I don't know how the style guide could even get that wrong.

This was a nice suprise by the Rangers this weekend, however it was requested by the players so it won't be the norm.
Even so its nice to know that they are willing to mix/match the red and blue with their home jerseys. I doubt 2K will be able to do this.

As long as they fix it wear its blue hat with blue jersey and red hat with red jersey (and sock colors) I will be happy.

It wasn't supposed to be like that, but the team requested it and that's what they've done so far. They'll only be wearing blue/gray on the road though. Unfortunately, 2k doesn't even have the blue road jerseys in the game.

Red Sox style guide has been wrong for decades...

Every video game ever produced has the cheap-looking font for the words "RED SOX" that appears on most merchandise...the font on the real jerseys is much more detailed. But they will always go by the style guide, so we're stuck with crappy jerseys year after year.

It's like the difference between the 70s Orioles script and the current one...

Yea after losing with the red last night they decided to switch back to the white/blue and scored 19 with Kinsler's cycle so we might not see a whole lot of red hats with the white jerseys anymore but i loved them. As said earlier though i would be happy with my guys not wearing blue hats and socks with the red alt.
