You guys did catch this in the top sticky, right?
"The fake non-player union players will have the right skin tone (Kevin Millar, Brendan Donnelly, etc.), but we're holding off on the prospects until they actually sign to avoid any angry league issues. "
I think you can blame this on the NFL retired players suing EA and winning last year over using their vitals and just changing the names.

You're missing my point. The difference between this year and last year is that the retired NFL players successfully sued EA over using FAKE NAMES, correct jersey numbers, skin tones, attributes, etc. and putting them on the correct teams so they were easily guessed as to who they really are. Ring a bell? Maybe the mods should delete all these threads pointing out which is which fake player so we don't make easy for whichever minor league gets a hair up his *** to sue 2K.

You can blame the fact of missing veteran players to the strike of 94. Players such as Millar and others were replacement players hence earning a banishment from the MLBPA. Other players just refuse to sign with the MLBPA in order to rmake as much money a they can without having to share the wealth aka Greddy Barry Bonds. So 2K cannot use any likeness of any of these players without that players consent AND individual licensing contract. Frankly, that could get a little expensive especially with idiots like Bonds who demand top dollar for the use of his name and likeness.

Basbeall season hasnt started yet........... I would expect to have an up to date roster after the first week of the reguler season. That allows for rookies to play and sign with the MLBPA. Until then, I think you will only see the big movers and shakers actually get updated.

Matt Ginter should be Milwaukee AAA minors instead of Cleveland AAA minors.
Jason Tyner should be on Houston AAA minors not Cleveland AAA minors.
New York Mets Claimed RHP Fernando Nieve off waivers from the Astros.
Washington Nationals signed RHP Julian Tavarez to the minor league
Seattle Mariners signed RHP Chad Cordero to the minor league
Washington Nationals signed RHP Kip Wells to the minor league

If they would just let us change DATE OF BIRTH,SKIN TONES,BATTING STANCES,PITCHING DELIVERIES,PITCH TYPES and definately YEARS PRO in the roster editor the problems would be solved. For all this to be limited doesnt make any since so please 2k PATCH these and not have them greyed out so we cant edit our rosters to perfection. Whats the point of 2k Share if we cant fully update ROSTERS and share them with the commuity and friends?

Yeah Lane has a pretty good shot at making the Jays roster this year. If he indeed does we won't have to worry about it. They will add him in with his real name and appearance. If he doesn't make the 25 man roster he should at least be in AAA where they should have him fixed either way.
