NBA 2K10 on the PlayStation Portable

NBA 2K10 will be coming out for the PlayStation Portable.

I wonder which previous game they are going to port...

The main things I'm hoping to see:

- A decent Association mode.
- Minimal Lag
- Any of the gaming mechanics from 2K5 onward.

I don't have a PSP, but it will be really cool to have it.

One great idea is to put your Franchise mode from your PS3 to your PSP so you can still continue if your on the go. :thumbsup:

I don't think that it would be a success. Most if not all PSP games are just sh*tty ports from the Trey, the Deuce, or the 360. And the fact that it would be impossible to have a shot stick for a system that only has one analog stick wouldn't help the port either.

So, no, it would not be a big success. But if I bought it, I would probably find it extremely entertaining but mostly because my tastes differ from the majority of gamers. I remember absolutely loving NBA Live '07 for the PSP, and look at how trash the Deuce, Trey, and 360 versions were. I think I liked it because it was portable, and I could take it outside and play it while chillin' with my friends. But because a majority gamers stay inside most of the time, a hand held version wouldn't be a necessity for them, considering the console version would be better.

The point is it's portable. Plus, 2K can rack up a few extra dollars by releasing a cheap port of the Deuce version.

Because it's on the PSP! Man, imagine going on your association mode while your on a long road trip, laying down on your bed, or just chilling with your friends?

I'm glad there's finally going to be a 2k10 comming out for the PSP...but how is it going to be?

I'm pretty sure there aren't going to be most of the console additions like the living rosters and 2ksharing...but hopefully it gets the association mode and I hope the gameplay is much better than the live psp series.

Anyway I'm hoping they can make this the BEST portable sports game out there. I hate having to play those atrocious live games where they don't even take the time out to fix anything about it but the rosters. Is there a way we can get a PSP suggestion post so that we get heard? I'm sorry lol i just want the game to be good even if it means it comes out later than the other versions.


Idk how they could make it better though, unless they port everything the console versions had (except the graphics and HD bells and whistles) perhaps just making sure you can do crossovers and highlight dunks? and the isomotion could still be implimented. so long as they have all this I would certainly be satisfied

If the game has all of that, 2K sold me a damn good game!

I believe there is a strong chance since the commercial with Spike Lee showed a PSP box, but my problem is that I have a strong doubt since 2K never made a PSP basketball game and only did baseball so that's why im worried

In my opinion, NBA 2K10 on the PSP will be a great game. It might not look the same as the console versions, but it will still have great gameplay. The game might look like a bit of NBA 2K6, and probably have the same features. They might add in like a 24/7 or The Life mode, and they might also have the great Franchise mode of past NBA 2K games. People will buy this game if they want to play an NBA game on the go, or if they don't have a next gen console like a Playstation 3 or an Xbox 360. What would be great though is that if you have a PS3, you can transfer your Franchise to your PSP and play it on the go.

It will probably just be the next version of NBA jam! I mean what else could you do witht he PSP I dont think is will have a freanchice mode.

If they can just keep Association, All Of The Teams, Players, Downloadable rosters, and maybe Edit/Create A Player, I'd be happy.

If the faces have to be unanimated, I'd still be content, as long as the gameplay is as smooth as it was in 2K6/2K7 I'd be happy also, #1 thing to watch out for us blurryness and lag, which will be the hardest thing.
