Do you use Rstick to throw the ball to a base or the face buttons? Do you have feedback?

After only a few months of using the Rstick to throw.I don't think I can go back to button mashing.

I use the right stick all the time, rarely the face buttons.

I use the right stick almost exclusively. It seemed to have some problems until Patch 2, but now generally works fine. I do use the cutoff button when throwing from the outfield.

Face buttons are MUCH easier with the disability.

I use face buttons...Really wish they had kept the meter system the same as last year, in which both the direction and the timing of your R stick press impacted both the direction and height of the ball.

R-Stick: it feels good and natural

R-stick is good, only I don't really see a throwing penalty for overcharging the meter when I throw, it is usually dead on even when I get it in the red.

Right stick. Even with a throw meter slider at 95, it's still controllable.

At first I used the face buttons because that's what I was used to doing in baseball games, but now I use the stick every time, It feels more natural.

i think the r-stick is great but they should always leave the button option maybe add as a classic setup and please add the hittting contorls back to the original classic with buttons and the meter bar thank you

Love the r-stick. Just wish it had the accuracy arrow like 2k8.

Right stick all the way. I try not to use face buttons because after awhile the buttons tend to stick a little.

While we're on button configuration: I'd like to see jump and dive separated on the controller. Maybe X for dive and Y for jump. The AI doesn't always choose the right action and it can be frustrating at times. It could possibly make it easier to jump at the wall instead of just diving face first and making it look like your player just broke his neck.

Surprisingly, many selected the right stick for some reason. If the RS makes the final cut, I think there should be an option for face button.

I vote for the buttons. I see most players voted rs, but pls do not remove the buttons.

Since both control methods do the same exact thing, what's the difference ?

It's not actually using the analog stick effectively anyway. It breaks the analog stick down to 4 buttons. There's no in between to make throws off center or anything like that. It's using it like a d-pad, which is just like pressing buttons.

Its outa here!!

I use R-stick, but i agree you should leave the button option in there for others who don't like the stick.

Face buttons are always better. The new generation of consoles are going head over heels for the right stick. It's not like by moving functions from the buttons to the right stick that you are gonna add new features to the button. So, it really makes no sense all this right stick analog ignorance that these new age games are coming with is just too much of a fad for me
