Which hitting control do you prefer? Please discuss.

I really enjoy using the Rstick to hit my only wish is the ability to check swing while using it.

I had problems with right stick hitting on the PC. 10 - 20% of the time my swing wouldn't be recognized, so I use Classic Hitting. I'm happy with the classic hitting and didn't see anything that was more compelling about the right stick hitting.

I would prefer the a button or a one-button hit system.

Ron, you may want to clarify as you can use zone with both classic and default (swing stick) and in the option you don't have the option to choose zone and one of the other two.

Options should be:

1) Classic (button) - Timing Only
2) Default (stick) - Timing Only
3) Classic (button) - Zone
4) Default (stick) - Zone

I preffer 3. I love zone, but do not have the coordination to use it with the swing stick. If there was no zone, I would just use the stick.

Prefer classic. But,do switch to stick every so often. I enjoy having the option to select.

I love swing stick, but for some reason, my Xbox 360 controller doesn't respond sometimes. I tried other controllers too, and somehow, my hitter doesnt swing even though I pull the stick back and up.

I like 2K8's swing better where you can direct the swing with the right stick.

I'm currently using the Classic swing (A Button) and directing my hits with the left stick as I'm having the most success with this option.

Bring back the step timing. Even if it's not the default setting, at least make it an option.

I'll be honest, I've yet to figure out how to change the controls to use the "classic" controls. That being said, I'm 51 years old, and have a tough time with analog sticks for hitting. There seems to be no consistency with "very early swing" and "very late swing" etc.
