If there will be no online mode for NBA 2k10/NBA 2kX I bet 90% users of NBA 2k9 will not buy new version of this game. Because for what?

Yea playing assoc all of the time gets boring as hell cause you can predict the cpus next move

Yeah!! 2K10 online for PC would be GREAT!!!! AND, I think a 2 player offline vs. mode (a mode 2k9's PC version didn't have) would also be a good addition.
