Better ranking system. Let it b an elo system fo da leaderboards. Not how many games u play to b top 10. But who u beat to detrimin real skillz. This stuff with ppl havin 1200 gms n beatin rookies aint gonna cut it. If im rank 500 n I play a top 10 player. If I win. He drops to 50 or 100. N my rank goes to like 200 or betta.


Let da scores show on my friend list. So if one of my boys on xbox live is playin sum1 else. Let me see wat score,wat team durin da gm.

lisen, if most of you people took the time to read a bit more & understand why online gameplay is so screwed up then you would understand where im coming from.

when i say that ONLINE DOESENT MATTER, I MEAN IT REALLY DOESENT MATTER...the development team cannot FIX THINGS. It's not their fault, it's the systems fault......when a game is placed online there are a number of little twerks & tweeks that turn's the gameplay around...OK, ask yourself this, ask WHY ARE ME & HUNDREDS OF GAMERS ON EACH BOARD (every franchise game) ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT ONLINE GAMEPLAY. Then do your research.....you will find strong reasons why online gaming really is not built to be successfull. For those who know me on these boards ive always been the guy saying that online gameplay is BROKENnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....it will always be broken. ive done the test, and the game plays completely backwards compared to offline gaming. You people are lost on just looking at whay you SEE on your TV. You see NBA 2k9, but is it really nba 2k9???? hummmm, think about it...YOUR NOT PLAYING THE SAME GAME WHICH MEANS YOUR NOT ON EVEN GROUNDSSSSSSSSSssssssssss.....

shadio, 2k8's online gameplay wasn't bad, just had the lead passing glitch and a couple other things. other than that, 2k8 was very good online, so how is online gameplay never going to be fixed, when it was so close before?

shoot lives online gameplay doesn't have that many glitches, yet it's always going to be broken?

if you don't care about online, then stay out of this thread. imo offline is boring as hell and i want online to be fixed to make 2k10 a better game then 2k9.

also playing offline with ME means that im talking about playing with your boys. We all jumped online while over here at my house and they were like "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS"..i warned them, they couldent move correctly, they couldent get a feel of the overall movement & pace of the game...playing with friends is wayyyyyyy better than playing ona a online glitched product. I DID THE TEST....thise of you who play mainly online will have a hard time seeing this. THERE will ALWAYS be a 2 sec lag or a slight pause in the lag area. SO many people think its a easy fix when they really dont know better.

2k9 better than 2k8? you have got! to be kidding me. 3s drop easier than ever in this game. this game has all the problems of 2k6 2k7 and 2k8 combined into one game.

and if you're talking about playing with friends that's ok, but you can cheese just as easily offline as online, so what's the difference. if you play good people online, you enjoy it, just like offline. if you play a kobe abuser offline, it's just as unenjoyable as online. i've seen a guy score 100 pts with kobe offline on one guy, of course the other player sucked.

bottom line is online can and needs to be fixed.

^^^to be real with you 2k7 & 2k8 was the most time i spent playing online...and it wasent the fact that i was losing, because i had a GREAT record. When i did win games, still i lost in my mind...meaning while i still won matches it still felt stupid playing.

i played 2k9 for a min online and knew that it felt wrong....lisen, NBA 2k is the best simulation sport game in america and if this game still has cheese then it's not the games fault, its something else. SOmething else BIGGER is going on with the screw ups online....when me & my friend play, the games seem so real....we dont look for cheese moves or attempt them. MABY because we dont know what a sheese move is........

there's a much bigger picture to look into, and its not the gameplay. People need to dig deeper than just asking for changes in gameplay. FRAMERATE, TIMING, BIT MAPPING IN ANIMATION needs to be looked into...MICROSOFT needs better connection. People are barking up the wrong place to look for help.....

IT's JUST TO MUCH DEALING WITH ONLINE GLITCHES & FIXES...that alone can kill a vibe in a game

nba 2k8 already did. you may not feel it, but like i said, other than the lead passing glitch, anything could be stopped if you tried, and even that if you got good at it. defense was actually rewarded a lot of times.

college hoops 2k8 was also very sim. if you played that game online you know what i'm talking about. otherwise you missed out on a great bball game.

they should create a sim slider which will be available for ranked and unranked games, better servers so we dont have to play 2 to 3 days offline because the server is not working and bring back the lobbies.

in tha case they should create a franchise mode or something new for the offline gaming it would be so cool if could create your own franchise,put your own prices something like mvp 05 or mlb the show 06..i love the offline game but is boring i feel like having no goals..just running a season

Online gaming is SUCCESSFULL! i've played many nba 2k9 games that felt like i was offline, i've always played many where it sucked, it happens. But for you to say online gaming is unsuccessfully is silly.
