First of Nba 2k9 is a great game but could use some improvements. So Career mode you start of in June or July Practicing for the Nba draft lifting weights and all that stuff. So when draft time comes around Teams we ask if you want to play Like 1 on 1 with a player on there team.Nba draft comes Your player is acually behind that place rookies sit. Then you get a role like Starter ect.If you make bad choices you get a lower role Sixth man ect.You go through play-offs and if you win finals mvp you hold up the trophy you get and Nba Championship trophy. Then you can do Post game confercences and Interviews Autographs. Then Back to preseason workouts.Weight rooms, Agility.maybe even if you get to Season 2012 you can be on the olympic team(depends on which country your from)Then you get ranks like rookie - Star - superstar - Hall of fame. then you retire.
Nba 2k10 ideas
1 Starting line-Ups like Dim the light, music The Shooting Guard from Lower Marion Hs Number 24 KOBEEEEE BRYANT
2 Pregame warmups You acually get to shoot and strech ect.
3 Bench should have those Outfits there were and injured players in suits.
4 bench should have more detail
5 Different Commentators ever game
6 Association- Post game Interviews and Signing Autos
Thats it post More ideas

My Idea for a career mode, Since the player is coming out of college we get to choose and create the stats from his college career. Seniors get a higher Awareness and other stuff but their draft spot is hurt because they are 4 years older than the other prospects. The bigger the school you came from the less out of this world your stats are but your draft spot is still up there, the smaller the school the more likely your player would be dropping like 27 a game, but his draft spot hurts him. So after stats are chosen you get points to set up you draft combine measurements. Now you get to do team work out 1 on 1, 3 on 3. Draft comes depending on stats, college, measurements, and how well you did at workouts you'll be drafted really high (rarely number 1) or really low or undrafted. Now during the preseason this where you get to slightly begin to define your role on your new team, hopefully it won't won't do the rating is higher than yours so you get little minutes. Whoever plays better plays more unless the person ahead of you is Kobe or LBJ. Now through out the season there should be a weekly or monthly workout where you get the chance to get points to improve your player's attributes, the weekly and monthly awards give you points as well.
Features:
E-mail system where you can talk to your Agent, Coach and training staff.
Extensive commentator dialogue on your player, lets say in you player in his 4th year is up there in league leaders in whatever category they will call you top whatever in the league.
Small cutscene: Like the coach calling you up from the bench, Your player dissapointed on the bench or after a foul he walks towards the bench to sit. ect.
I've got more just can't remember them all...

Create-a-Player - An improved and more advanced feature. This part of the game is definitely stale. They need to adopt a CAP like the Tiger Woods Series. The fact that we can't change weight, and edit specific body parts like arms and calves, is pretty dang annoying.
Create-a-Jersey - This would be an alternative to putting in a large amount of retro jersey's. You are able to design the jersey, and shorts. If we get really lucky, maybe a warm-up. You would have a choice out of all nba team logo's, as well as some generic logo's and all sponsor logo's in the game, such as: Nike, Jordan, Gatorade, Reebok, and the NBA logo.
Create-an-Arena - This of course would be an alternative to retro arena's. You are able to design every facet of the court, such as: Rims, Backboard, Lines, Mid-court logo's, The Paint, and Baseline. You are also given the option to choose any current NBA Team's Arena and make changes from that. You can change the color of the seats, bench, sponsors, and type of Jumbo-tron.
Create-a-Team - This area of the game, is also very stale. The logo's and pre-set names are horrible. Give us more options, that we can change ourselves.
Create-a-Shot - This is probably a long-shot, but still a great idea. This would break down into: Jump-shot, and Free-throw.
Create-a-Coach - This should've been in the game a long time ago. A lot of the best head coaches resign after the first season, so give us some more options other than generic guys!

This is great. 2K probably has a good chunk of 2k10 finished, so I hope they will work towards this in the future. I believe that features is the only thing keeping the competition around, and if they get destroyed in that category that could mean a monopoly for 2K in basketball games...
