Hey there everybody! I just had the chance to download the demo off of the Marketplace. It is a very cool game. Some of the things I noticed right away in my short play was the enhanced graphics. They are very bright, colorful, and vibrant which to me adds to the feel of the experience. The mechanics of the gameplay haven't changed at all that I can see, which is a good thing since the prior mechanics woked well and were easy to learn. I also love the Lengendary stats that certain players have. It surely adds to the strategy of where you want to put the ball into play or if you are going to try and go for that extra base on the base path.
On the downside of things, if this really is a downside or just my suckiness showing through, I still see that there is a tremendous change in difficulty going from Easy to Medium. Easy, is just too easy in most repsects, and then Medium is a little too hard. There just doesn't seem to be a more gradual scale of difficulty. I word consider the level of difficulty on Medium to be more in line with and "easier" Hard difficulty if that makes sense.
Overall I would come away saying that this game, from what I saw in a quick playthrough, has made some great improvements. Now will this game be blowing gamers away as so many have said, I don't know, but I am going to play the demo some more to see the things that I missed and then I will properly come to a decision. The only reason I say this is because I didn't really see anything initially that made me say "WOW!". Now, again I just played it briefly and it is only a demo. I'm a 110% positive that the full version will be able to add to that "WOW" factor that I'm looking for. If you're wondering if I will still be buying this game...I would say...YES!!! :thumbsup:
