I've got the outfield legendary catches down, but I really need help with the infield ones. I think it reads to hold the button, and release it when it's enclosed by the circle, but I never make the catch. Any suggestions? How do you guys do it?

you have to hit the button as is the meter crosses the corresponding button.

I'm doing that, I will hold the button, and then let go as the circle shrinks right around the letter of the button, but I drop it every time.

you dont hold it down, you just press it release, then when the meter hits the next button hit and release.

Its the correct way, i have done it multiple times already.

You're right and the post above you is also right. Depending on certain situations you may have a mini game where yu need to HOLD te correct button until the circle around it encloses to just the outer edge of the colored button. In my opinion it is the hardest one besides the mini game where your catcher tries to get a foul near a dugout.

Anyway, the mini game your talking about is pretty straight forward, just press the correct button before the white line gets to it. The closing cirlce seems to come into play with certain diving catches in the outfield.

By the way, what is the correct way to complete the mini game where you have a catcher (probably any fielder, I'm not sure because it has only happened with the catcher for me) trying to get a foul ball near a dugout? There seems to be a grid of some sort that pops up with a button to press. How do you complete this one correctly?

You don't hold the button. As the circles shrinks around the button, that is when you "press" it. You press "A" to start the legendary catch, and in that particular mini-game, you press the button when the circle is wrapped around.

you have to hold the button on screen and wait till the circle shrinks and covers the outer edge of the button and let go. Make sure you press it quickly when it appears on screen or you won't have enough time for the circle to shrink all the way around the button. If you are doing this, you're doing it right. keep trying

Alright guys, I finally got it, it seems like for the infield dives, you have to wait longer than I was to release the button, practice makes perfect.
