freeze in injury menu

When i start a season after about a month the injury menu freezes up on me. The game doesn't do this in any other menu. If i start scrolling down the cursor will eventually stop and freeze. I have tried everything i can think of stop this. I have started my season over a couple times and it won't freeze until about a months worth of games have gone by. After that it freezes everytime. I have even tried picking random teams and simming through games until injuries are accumulated. I haven't had it freeze when i do this, but that really doesn't help me anyway. i have changed the CD speed to fast on my PS2 and as far as i can tell there are no major scratches in the disk.

Has this happened to anyone else?

yep lots...I just don't check my injuries anymore...

yeah, this happens to me too, but only when i have alot of injuries. it seems like anything over 5, and the menu can't handle it. I guess since all the other teams in the league never have any injuries, and never get to that point. But when i only have a coupla injuries, the menu doesn't freeze

This happens to me too. I don't think it really matters how many injuries I have in the list (although, with the frequency of the injuries, I've never had less than 4 people in the list).

However, If I cut the aggression and lower the CPU and human hitting power, that helps reduce injuries.

I think lockjaw is right. I am playing on PRO and i have noticed that none all the other teams have no injuries and a couple of 1 or 2. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the injury menu is the only menu that does not have a scroll bar, you know the thin on the right that tells you how far down the menu you are.
