Demo Impressions From Pasta Padre

For those of you still on the fence about The BIGS 2, check out Pasta Padre's take on the recent demo release:

Coming off The BIGS, one of my favorite sports games of this generation, hopes are high for the sequel. Just some initial impressions from the short time playing it so far the first being the ingenious strategical elements are still prevalent. I really appreciate how you can go at the games, and each individual pitch, so many different ways and nothing about it is frustrating unlike other arcade style games. The “Legendary” tag is a nice addition giving those fielders special abilities which I saw right away when the NL catcher jumped high into the air and onto the dugout to attempt to catch a foul ball. What I liked is they don’t always make those catches but they have a shot at them.

I listened to their pod cast, and they did everything in their power not to blast NCAA demo. That demo is freaking horrible. He did say he wouldnt buy it, but he wouldnt say anything a bad about the game. So funny how he will do that, but when it comes to 2K's games, dude will hate.

Oh well, i guess when someone gives you crazy perk's to pay you off, its going to work. l

I played the NCAA demo as well and thought it was extremely lacking in every department. It just seems old and outdated.

Oh trust me, I'm probably your BIGGEST fan when it comes to this game (except for maybe Ronnie)! I'll have it on day one guaranteed. I've been having a great time playing the BIGS 1 and can truely see the incredible upgrade that is the BIGS 2 when I play the demo right after playing the BIGS 1. So many details have been added and the balance of gameplay seems to be a lot better.
