I had a chance to play the Bigs 2 yesterday for the first time. Needless to say it's a great improvement from the orginial. The gameplay is amazing and overall it feels like a perfect game, BUT, there's one thing that really bugged me.
In the first Bigs when you would be stealing and the pitcher picked off you could hit the left bumper to advance and head to the next base (sort of like a steal on first move). You had to be quick to hit the bumper and advance before he automatically slid back into the base and got called out. I liked the way the stealing system was in the first Bigs and have no idea why they would change it in the second.
Now whenever you get picked off and you're stealing you're automatically out. Even if you hit the bumper and your player starts running to second! You're just out! There's no play, no tag, the screen doesn't even change from the first base view, you're out. Am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculous?
