Will the Wii version have Online? If not I'm not buying it because It won't really have much different than 2k9.

Pretty sure it's been implied that huge overhauls are in store for the Wii version. And with The Conduit out, the bar has been raised for online play on the Wii.

It's nice to see game companies OTHER than Nintendo taking time to develop for the Wii.

We are going to be putting a ton of effort into the Wii product so suffice to say, we will be stepping up. Online play I can't comment on yet, however.

what about that Wii MotionPlus thing
my wii is in a closet collecting dust, with the piles of wii games ive bought... the motion plus has me contemplating bringing it out. My problem so far with my wii games have been what i perceive as a lack of 1 to 1 control
any chance the wii game gets in the "tiger woods" stratosphere for game control?

Woohoo!!! This is great news!
Just as long as some of the gameplay memory leaks get plugged (ie: the loss of replay after approximately 50 shots on goal). ;)

It varied (not much) but it was a combination of 50 shots by both teams.
After that, a few penalties and highlight reel worthy clips there is a point where the Wii's memory get's overloaded and 2k9 will not replay game footage in-game or at the post-game wrap-up screens.
This also causes the auto-save to not work properly. And occasionally, if the auto-save didn't work right the Wii would freeze up.

That is great news for the wii version of the game, b/c it's a lot of fun playing online, rather than the computer..............I think the wii has a great one -vs- one aspect to it.....just probably not the graphics x-box and ps3 have and maybe also the memory ???
either way I hope the servers stay up for a while......

Are the servers still down? It seems like they've been down for almost a week.
