Where are the alternate jerseys? White and grey only in an arcade baseball game is ultra-lame. Maybe as free DLC in a few weeks?

I purchased the 360 version for my son, and he tells me the pitching stats are not recording correctly. He noticed the wins/losses were not inputting correctly. He's currently 2-1, but when he checked his season stats the losing pitcher got the win. :( He hasn't checked any other stats, but it's disappointing the stats are not being recorded correctly.

I have the 360 version, so far I have only played solo and some pinball... but as far as a comparison to the original it is great, I enjoyed the first copy, and now I find myself enjoying this more than the first. I hope to dive into the season mode tonight!

I picked up the 360 version yesterday. I have to say that I am very VERY happy with the game so far. I have been waiting for this one since they patched 2K9 into the dead ball era. As it turns out this is exactly what I have been wanting. I would elaborate further, but my work day is done. It is time to go home and begin my ascension to greatness in the Become a Legend mode.

I'm running out right now to go pick up the game. I can't wait to get some games in.

I'm picking up the 360 version now, anyone out there that prefers the Wii version? I haven't read anything about the Wii version really.

Just played a few games against my brother. Even better than the first regarding gameplay. I like the fact they added the wheelhouse, which diminishes as the game goes on and not per at bat. We had two great, close games. I still would like to know what the Wii owners think of the Bigs.

I love this game, it's one of my favourite games ever lol. There are a few minor things that bug me, such as 1) The Home Run Pinball stuff I posted a topic about on this forum 2) The Alternate jerseys are left out of the game, and Prince is even wearing one on the cover lol, and 3) The ratings are pretty inaccurate for many players. Overall though, this is the funnest game I've ever played, and every baseball fan should be able to appreciate it. It's also super cool how you play all the past legends and everything! ( I've only completed the first 2 seasons, so I'm not near done Become A Legend mode yet but I've hear it has a great ending).

Awesome, awesome game. Liked the 1st Bigs. Love the 2nd. Keep up the good work. Day 1 purchase for me (rare) and worth every nickel. I especially like the online play, but offline season mode is also a VERY welcome addition, thank you. Anyone looking for some fun online games, hit me up GT=ItsHimAgain on MS Live.

I haven't played season mode yet but everything else:

+++
- Controls (didn't think button pressing can still be fun)
- good difficulty progression (Easy - Medium - Hard etc.)
- animations (e.g. dust swirling after a fast pitch over the plate or the awesome fireworks!)
- Home Run Pinball and the mini games (in and outside games)
- some Big Blasts
- nice try to make grass look like grass but unfortunately kind of failed
- great sound: especially the atmosphere of Japan captured very well

---
- first and foremost: Baserunning is AWFUL!! Even if you try to babysit your baserunners they still will stop halfway, run back, turn around again and then get thrown out
- some very boring Big Blasts - e.g. Toronto where only a window gets a hole... ooooh... very "cool"
- Become A Legend:
--> very linear, you don't get to choose any progression whatsoever or even what kind of power up you want
--> some tasks are luck-based: e.g. throw out two runners... yeah, I could do that if the ball actually came to me^^ --> very, very frustrating
--> entire mode reminds me of TNA Impact's Story Mode: lame, not innovative and so on... I'd have preferred a start in the minor leagues, though I must admit I love the Mexican Stadium
--> story is weird in general: a superstar doesn't lose all of his abilities, even after a career-threatening injury - they usually rehab in AAA teams but don't go to Mexico and lose all their abilities...
- flickering of grass and dirt; the grass at Old Fenway Park is horrible... it looks like small hills... very ugly
- for me the power button is basically useless except for players with a No-Doubt HR since only 1 out of 10 balls or so land in the field or bleachers and not not somebody's glove...
- only very few signature styles. I don't care about them too much, but at least Lincecum's delivery should be in there ;)
- no possibility to create a GOOD player for Season Mode... those created players suck! or is there a way to power up their stats?
- nothing really bad but: occasional commentary mistakes (announcing a double as soon as a fielder missed a great catch even though it's only a single and sentences like "Seems like he was trying hit the ball to the parking lot" (or so) seem weird in the Hubert H. Humphrey Stadium...)
- Legendary Catches can get REALLY annoying - try hitting for the fences against an outfield packed with Legendary Catch Ability if you don't have the No-Doubt HR... literally impossible... Legendary Catches should be earned: 2-3 Turbos or 20,000 points or so... and the 20,000 they earn you are way too much... have an opponent do 5 Legendary Catches (but no other offense) and boom, Big Blast here they come..
- Can someone explain to me why on earth a triple is worth as much as an inside-the-park homerun?? I wonder if it's the same with a triple and double play...

Sorry for the nitpicking, but the game is awesome at its core but very tiny details can get really frustrating and keep me from playing the game for more than an hour or so...

It is shocking how many people love this game. It's a pinball arcade game and should not be considered a sports video game. It should be under pinball arcade games instead. The comments are so high on this game I don't understand. Maybe all the guys that have played the sim games love this game because it's so easy to hit. It's a 6/7 game, and fun for about a day then I go back to playing mlb the show or 2k

Do my homework? HR Derby=pinball game of course.

Then you go into gameplayit isn't simulation at all, it's garbage close ups all game why? only thing missing is text baloons, pow, bam, biff. I can close my eyes and get hits.

The ONLY thing that is intriguing about this game is the hot zone fluctuating as the count does, that's brilliant, the rest of it is a 5.99 to 9.99 dl game on the psn store.

You all dropped $60 on this game? Damn I got some prospecting maps for gold for $9.99 a piece send me your money, so you can make money.

It's a good thing you're not everyone. You carry your own opinion like every one else does.

Just going to put in a few thoughts here.

I love the pick up game mode, I think more emphasis should be put on that in future games, maybe call it fantasy draft and let you pick a few people and start a league with friends.

I'd love to be able to change my lineup when I do a pick up game, and maybe even pick my relievers/bench. I don't mind the bench players, it seems to be a crapshoot, but everyone gets the same garbage relievers every time, qualls, capps, motte, lowe, pinto, mota.

I'd like to be able to play pickup games online and have legendary players available to be picked in pickup games.
