nice game, 3-2-3 double play?

Nice game 2k, definitely builds upon the original and lots of neat new items to learn and master. Once thing I would like to ask: is it not possible to double play with the 1B to catcher in a loaded situation? I normally get a double play ball immediately when I hold down (the button of) the desired base after a force out, but the 3-2-3 ball does not respond to normal conventions, and wont trigger double play (maybe its just lag on the first day, this was an online game). Just curious if anyone else noticed this.

Congrats 2k! Lets hope Bigs 3 is just as good.

PS. @12pm EST bigs servers don't appear to be online, not sure if this is 2k or live, but I thought I might mention it.
