My Game Won't Connect to Xbox Live

For some reason, every time I try to go to the Xbox Live menu, the "Signing In" screen pops up & stays there until I cancel the Sign In. This is very frustrating.

I have a simliar problem. I was signed onto Xbox Live last night and put the BIGS 2 disc in. I got to the main menu and pressed the Xbox Live button but a box pop up saying my privileges did not allow me to sign in. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you guys done your port forwarding? Sounds like that may be the issue here...

Im assuming that same thing is going on for PS3, if so what ports do we need to forward?

Sorry I am not familar with port forwarding. I have not had any problems playing online or getting roster updates for MLB 2k9. Could you explain port forwarding. Thanks.

It's different for specific routers on how to do it. I would google your router name and port forwarding xbox live. Two of the ports you'll want are 88 (UDP) and 3046 (TCP+UDP).

Also port forward for 1745 TCP\UDP as well.

I'm not sure if this is whats wrong in my case, because I was able to get online on one occasion, but am again experiencing the sign in problem...
