The player's clapping animation when he is announced is painful to watch. The head nod and clap looks like a placeholder animation and deserves some polish. Perhaps use a different animation all together. Like wiping the soles of their shoes, more stretching, or the players already announced clapping for the just announced player as he walks onto the court.

and what's with the coach jogging like 5 ft to get out of the way when the intro start?

I'd rather see one where the opposing players on each position are announced and go shake hands at center court.

yeah, they should add some animation of the players getting really hyped up for the game. like players bumping chests or a huddle like duke does to get ready. its not a big deal, but then again, its the little things that count

Here is my suggestion for 2k5. During intros cut out the lights and play a pump up song. Have the bench players make two lines and then as the starters are introduced have them run through the line like they do in real life.
