Chicago maybe. It use to be cool to use the Hawks because they sucked. Now they have all this talent, even though they're my favorite team, I don't want to use them really. I don't know, probably what ever team sucks it up the worst.

Besides the Bruins I generally like to start franchises with teams that I don't normally follow in the real world. For me that has always been the great thing with sports games, stepping out of my comfort zone and going with something different. Another thing is they have to be average or below, in other words I won't use the Wings, Hawks, Sharks etc...
I'm leaning towards Tavares and the Isles. I think it'd be fascinating to build a contender around a rookie center and restore a once proud franchise.

If I do a Franchise I will probably choose Minnesota or something. I mean just think of how big hockey is down there.

I felt that way about the Sharks back in the day. Then they actually got good (regular season anyway) in real life so they became better in the game. I don't pick them because of their rating. I pick them because they are my favorite team. Same for the Warriors & Niners. I'd play with the A's, but don't own a baseball game.

this game iz gunna b mad wicked... i may also use Vancouver, always been a big Canucks fan, as well as the Tampa Bay Lightning.
