I am sick of games that last an hour and are impossible to play because my opponent lags like crazy. This would be avoidable if this game would actually boot the people that lag a lot. Instead ppl are forced to quit games and guys like Lucifer get all there wins this way as they lag like crazy. When that 'Waiting for Player' timer comes up it should not reset every time it pops up. You get 18 seconds of lag time and thats it, then you get booted and the other guy gets the win.

Yeah, there should be an in-game option to quit (in the first few minutes of the game, before anyone scores) because of lag, without getting a "quit" or a "drop". Playing laggers is not fun, because the speed of hockey goes right out the window.

I like that idea a lot. Giving the option to drop the game because of lag, or any other reason both can agree on. Instead of a timer though, it should be that the players have to vote to end game early. There should be an option to Postpone game as if the game had never started or end game early with current score, but a all players must agree to the end game or postponed status by voting for it from the pause menu.
The Other thing, is if a player drops or is kicked out of the game for a network reason or something, that stat should be keptin a seperate category that shows on their profile, so other gamers can see who drops a lot. This doesn't apply to voting games to end early, but people who pull the network cable or turn off the power to not get the loss. It should have the same weight as a loss, but not show in the loss category by instead in it's own category. On the other end, the player who didn't drop shouldn't get a win, because people can take advantage of that too easily.
