this is awesome.. very excited to hear the talk about positioning
So we went into the lab and decided that we wanted our stick lifts to be a nice medium between a check and a stick tie up. Some of you out there that hit the ice know it’s not just about trying to whack the stick as much as it is about using your body to help get in between the opponent and the puck. Understanding what we wanted, we headed to the rink to capture 200+ variations of 2 person stick lifts. Players in the game will actually use both their bodies and sticks to attempt to take the puck away

Awesome !! Its this kind of thinking that make's me assured that 2K10 is going to blow me away!!
Anticipation of 2K10 is going to kill me!
Thanks for actually listening to us and giving us this feed back.

One thing you sim guys are going to have to remember is sometimes it’s not always best to attempt a shot, especially if you have a strong puck handler. Sometimes, the result of the check will put you in a better position. On the other hand, if the clock is winding down or a teammate is crashing the net, perhaps it is just best to get the puck in deep. These are the choices that you have to make many times over the course of a game.
Very nice to hear. Imagine, actually making a decision based on what the game situation dictates.

I can't believe I'm saying it but this sounds like a year where I will exclusively get 2K10 and entirely ignore 10.

I cant wait for a better right stick! I love 2K0's shootout, but you have to use the special dekes because the stick is so unusable. EA has a fun shootout, but the away player goes wayyyyyy faster than the home player. The home is the right speed.

I would love nothing more than to own 2k10. Last years game ****ed me off so much with the glitches and every other game I had tennis shoe squeaking on basketball court noises skating down the ice. I doubt EA will top their 09 game (adding better fighting who cares and board checks, gee thats new). You guys have dropped the ball for the last two years and I have faith that you will restore the greatest hockey franchise to its triumphant quality; at least I am hoping you will...
