It's not limited to North America, it seems: Several retailers have changed the price from about 60€ (regular price for most games) to 40€ here, which is an even bigger price drop.

Seriously 2k, promote the heck out of this price! Coming from a parent who watches every penny, a $10 price difference makes all the difference. Moms and dads that walk into the game store with their kids to buy a game will definitely go for the cheaper version, and the kids will use the cheaper price as a selling point to their parents. I know for us hardcore hockey nuts $10 isn't a deal breaker but for the casual fan it just may well be.

He's making fun of our money! :( Actually, the Canadian dollar is near par with the American one.

But games usually cost more Canadian dollars than USD, right? Regardless, it's still worth less now. Though I'm sure it's not at its .6:1/1:1.6 balance of perfection that it hovered around when I was younger.

Last I checked, 1 Canadian dollar is worth 93 cents US.

That's what I'm saying. It used to be that the USD-CAD conversion was the same as the mile-km conversion. Like God intended.

I think I'm finally beginning to understand RoadDoggFL a little better. He has a connection that a lot of us don't have. That must be why he is never wrong.

Meh, the metric system has the problem of existing in a world that uses a 10-base number system. Metric + 8-base, yeah.
Mile > KM, easily (not just in distance, either, it's a better unit of measurement).
