If it is similar to mlb's 2k share then the created/shared rosters will be available for offline use only.

That's what I was afraid of. If it could be used in an on-line league, it would be great. One of the problems with on-line leagues is that a lot of gamers want the top-rated top-rated teams and the lower rated teams go begging for "owners." Short of reducing league size, you have a problem because the leagues sit there and everybody waits while you find somebody to take the Islanders. With a little "adjusting" of the roster, however, you would have the option of bringing those those 76-rated teams up to a point where they could at least be reasonably competitive, ratings-wise. From reading the blogs thus far, it appears as though the game is going to be more ratings-driven than ever before and so the ability to tweak and share rosters will be important.

I do like the roster share option, but can all players be edited? I don't want to start a roster project and find out i can only edit/create a limited amount of players like in 2k9.
