I've been impressed with almost all of the new pics that have come out so far, but please tell me that the above pic is a beta version or something. Steve Mason was the Calder winner for crying out loud. He deserves an authentic helmet, not this piece of garbage they give all backup goalies.

Yeah, authenticity and exact replicas is hard indeed, but geeze, at least give the guy a generic Jackets helmet.

I mentioned this before but I think it bears repeating, just don't make the equipment so obviously bad that it becomes noticeable. A generic team-colored helmet will suffice, the charcoal grey noggin cover has got to go.

You know what sharks, you're right, that pic of Dan is pretty frekin' stellar. I know a lot of us get nit picky about graphics, and rightfully so, but sometimes I just have to sit back and think how far games, and specifically graphics, have come. Simply amazing.

BTW, the RBC Center is pretty dead on. All they need to do is add Ric Flair on the jumbotron doing his "woooo" every time they Canes score and they'll have it nailed.

I think I can do without Ric Flair but to each his own. I've never been much of a wrestling guy, ever since my unfortunate incident with Andre The Giant.

I was joking about Ric Flair. I hate it! But the guys an icon down here and he brings people who otherwise wouldn't have a thing to do with hockey to the rink. Go figure.
