number 1 no matter how good or bad i want to see it on pc
goal review if you have ever watched real hockey or playoff hockey you will see that every goal is reviewed and what next gen games lack is the feeling of drama could you imagine goals being taken away for goalie interference or your redirect stick was to high or the clock expired before it crosed line. every year i wait for some company to think outside the box instead of making the game geared for fast online play make it real you could always fast forward if you did not want to see the cutscenes. but with goal review you can also have comentators talk about the shots that just took place you can do mega cutscenes of players on the ice while they do reviews as well and create drama.
broken or droped sticks now ea has attempted this but to be honest it is retarded to see you hit a player who's stick drops right below them no animations of them trying to pick it up or run to bench and get a replacement or the goalie losing his stick because he was crowded and got hit and his stick drops.
goalie interference this should be huge
create a goalie mask feature as well as a import image option for it sorry 2k you do some things good but your masks stink same with ea sports they have used the same masks since 07 no love for the goalie i know there is licenese agrement on who actually makes them so give us a better way to create are own.
individual player shots give all the stars signature shots like 2k series and you will see real nhl lovers go ape shizz generic game play is blah at best i have played the new demo for ea sports and to me it is the same game as 09 i wont be buying it.
more icons for players, bad ice or wet spots that refs will atempt to fix via cutscenes
the ability to break more nhl records as well as team records with real current record holders names
the use of jumbotron for replays of goals and record breaking feats
more board play
whiff shots and broken sticks from shot attempts passes that bounce like skipping a rock or end over end as well as passes that will go over your stick or under if you did not get it down fast enough out of all the pics i have seen for hnl2k 10 the puck is flat have you ever seen a hockey game it is rare to see the puck flat on passes and yes the pucks does go over your stick if passed to hard.

a better fatigue system not only in game but overall team from your weekly rutines like to much practice or team travel if your on the road and bouncing all over north america from one city to another that are miles apart your team should reflect a long road trip if your home for 3 or 4 games you should have some advantage like skate faster not get as tired as the other team.
a way to set ice time numbers to players that way you can get more realistic ice time for your star players that can reflect there real life counterparts kinda like the nba series dna crap
i really want to see fatigue be a issue in games.
players that get hit hard that don't get up until there is a wistle and penaltys need to be fixed and made more acurate never see those 5 min ones in games.
animations don't really know what ones are in this game but dont remove any you always add more
