Captaincy Issues

In the game,I switched the "C" from Lindros to Messier in the Rosters and I saved and exited.After I exit,I go to play a game and the "C" still shows up on Lindros.Does anyone know how to fix this problem and get the "C" to show up on Messier? Someone please reply.THX

Yeah, this is a bug in the game. Whoever the game is programmed with originally for a captain or asst. captain will wear the jersey letters, regardless of who you change them to. You can change them around all you want, but unfortunately, in-game, it will show the A's and C's based upon the default roster.

Plus, they didn't even update the real Captain/Asst. Captain records for this year. For the Islanders, it still lists Dave Scatchard as an assistant captain, while all last year, Adrian Aucion was the assistant captain. (Yashin has been the other A for 2 years).

While this is insignificant, it does get annoying when compounded with other bugs.

Actually, the captaincy issue is a bug, but it only applies to the Rangers. The reason is because Mark Messier was undecided about returning to play this season and because he's tired of looking at all of his teammates' *******ia. Plus, he's romantically linked to Erik Lindros, so they didn't want Messier to have the captaincy in the game.

The solution to this problem is to turn the cut scenes off. They're bad.

no...it's not just the Rangers.......I tried to use like 5 different teams, happens every time
