I played 2k2 on DC and NHL 2k3 last year in addition to this year's version, here are things that still haven't been fixed and have bugged me since 2k2.

1. Passing AI - I don't know how many times I have come down on a wing, tried to pass to a center, and the pass goes to the other wing instead, this drives me crazy! I have tried taking pass assist off and it still happens.

2. Players ignoring passes - I'm sure we've all seen it, you pass to a player and he pays no attention whatsoever. This should never happen.

3. Defenseman hanging way too far back. Come in to the points already when there is sustained offensive pressure. 9 times out of 10, if I win a faceoff in the offensive zone back to my defenseman and try to pass to my other defenseman, he will have already gone out of the zone FOR NO REASON!

4. People overskating puck, it's almost comical at times when people try to pick up the puck and you just can't seem to get it, plus offensive players all go in too deep whenver there's a rebound so there's no hope of getting rebound goals.

5. (This really bugs me this year, I can't remember if it was a problem in the past). The line change menus are way too big and should never be on the screen while play is going on, it seems they stay up forever and it can be difficult to find the puck through them.

Those complainst aside, I still love the game and the classic teams and uniforms this year was a great addition, but as everyone else has already said, add the Hartford Whalers and old time stadiums if you can, plus allow classic teams in season/franchise/tournament/online play. It's annoying to have to draw up brackets on paper when me and friends want to have a tournament and use the classic teams.

1. I have scored plenty of goals like that. Although I have noticed this as well. I have the pass assist at about 20% and you just have to aim carefully.

2. I find holding down O helps so he protects the puck as soon as he gets it. Otherwise you have to change player early and skate towards it. Or you could always just do a onetimer :D

3. YES this is the WORST thing about this game!! How are you supposed to run the bang bang power play? Leetch, you moron!!

4. Same as 2.

5. Use Auto line change. Also, I dont know about ESPN cos I ahvent tried it, but in 2K3, if you chose manual line change, then the computer never changed their lines! and got very tired. Stooopid.

Yes but that means you have to play as the home team all the time, or the away team, not either /or. What if you are playing a season, do you have to swap these settings every game?
