I had a great season. Was unable to lead the league in scoring. Injuries got bad...so i turned injury frequency down. And i fought back...through thick and thin.
I created myself as the goalie wearin #11 because Johan Hedberg had #1 with the Manitoba Moose. I broke the NHL record for wins in a season with a Goalie with 55wins.
Ifinished with 59 wins and got into the first round to realize i couldn't get past the second game cuz it would freeze at the end of every sim or full game.
So i had to restart my season, i simmed it and the Nucks finished in fourth and i sweeped my first playoff run all the way to the Stanley Cup and won against the Toronto Maple Leafs....(funny story tho in NHL 2k2 i faced the leafs in the finals, in 2k3 i faced the Leafs in the finals in my first season, and I also faced the leafs in my first season as well in 2k4.... what a trip eh???)
I've finished my offseason, had a lot of fun with that. I didn't know we could actually play as the prospects, thats wicked. And now i'm about start season #2
In my user records i've played about 132 games i believe with an .80 winning percentage. Was kinda mad that for some reason the challenges i did to the tee didn't complete itself in the Dream Team Mode, and in the Tournament mode. Kinda choked i gotta do them again. Espescially the undefeated in Dream Team mode one. Oh well... I notice the game is a little bit freezy, kinda bugs me a bit but its better than EA Sports for now.
