Historic (mystery?)1970's Sabres TEAM?

Does anyone know if you unlock any of the mystery teams, if they have the old Sabres at all! Would luv to play with the old French Connection!

Well I have unlocked 3 of them: 84 Oilers, 81 Islanders and 74 Flyers. I don't know if the Sabres is the last one....

Even if you do unlock them it won't be a similar team at all. The players will not have names or correct jersey numbers. I really don't understand what the developers were trying to do here.

We're watching the NLCS so I cant boot-up and check, But there is a Sabre team in the historic teams. Also, even though the numbers and faces are generic, the stats and ht, wgt and shot are there. ESPN even put about 90% of the classic players in their voice data banks. If you want to fix these classic teams, start at hockeydb.com and get the roster, then use this wonderful tool we have in the internet and get their numbers and other stats. Most NHL teams keep a All-Time roster online. I did the 56 habs and the 67 hawks on Saturday and loved every minute of it. Also, go to gamefaq.com for a renaming guide by Phil Parent (Any relation to Bernie?)

I have Completed 15 Classic Rosters, with the right Names and Numbers Shot handedness and Country in most cases (90% Viper is right the names are in the voice DB, (No Gretzky or Orr though sucks) The lines are up to you.

To answer your original question, none of the mystery teams are the Old Sabres teams of the past, but their old Blue Jersey is included.
