I am a huge fan of college basketball, and was wondering who you guys think will be the top 10 teams when the rankings come out in a couple weeks. My List:
#1 - North Carolina Tar Heels (Great squad, could win it all easily)
#2 - Wake Forest Demon Deacons (Will be fighting UNC all year long for #1 spot)
#3 - Kentucky Wildcats (Always seem to be a top team come March)
#4 - Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Went a long way last year, should do the same this year)
#5 - Connecticut Huskies (Lost Okafor, but still a great team)
#6 - Kansas Jayhawks (Very deep team, and one of the best recruiting classes in Kansas history)
#7 - Duke Blue Devils (The coach is staying, so it will be another winning season)
#8 - Texas Longhorns (Lost good players, but gained good ones as well)
#9 - Maryland Terps (Was 6th in ACC last year, but only lost one good player to the draft, I think they will do good)
#10 - Pittsburgh Panthers (Only 5 losses last year, Pittsburgh has been a strong team these last few seasons)
Others:
#11 - Louisville Cardinals (Coach Pitino should have a good enough team this year to go far and even win the C-USA)
#12 - Michigan State Spartans (Coach Izzo always seems to win and get his team in the higher rankings)
#13 - Oklahoma State Cowboys (Only 4 losses last year, should go far again this year)
#14 - Illinois Fighting Illini (A good solid team that always does well)
#15 - Cincinnati Bearcats (Lost Bobbitt, but gained some tealent, this team has good depth and a shot at the C-USA)
This is just my opinion, what do you guys think. By the way, I think the rankings come out next Monday? (October 16th)
